How to ripen and store your Peaches
I TRIED THIS AND IT WORKS
After you purchase, simply leave them stem-side down on your counter for a few days. Do not Refrigerate. Monitor them daily. When they give slightly to a gentle squeeze, they are ready to eat. Once your peaches are ripe, refrigerate them.
-If you want to help your peaches ripen faster, place them in a paper bag which traps the natural ripening gases. and keeps fruit flies off them! Once ripe refrigerate .

Wondering who has the best Lobster Rolls in Westport ? ( and what they cost! )
We Gave Westport Sea Farms a 4 out of 5 Stars, 5 oz roll with chips $25.
We gave Bayside Restaurant 4.5 Stars 5 oz. roll served w fries or cole slaw $34.
On July 2, We Taste Tested Village Pizza at 760 Main Rd. Westport
Most people on my Facebook page said try Village Pizza's Lobster Rolls they have the best.
We have a Clear Winner!!!
We went mid week for lunch time. Our order took about 15 mins. they were busy but were hustling. Seating is inside or outside. We chose to sit outside on a picnic table on a lovely Garden Patio.
The roll was served on a Grilled Garlic Sub Roll and had almost 8 oz. of Lobster meat!!!!!!!!
The roll was not overpowering it complimented the lobster well. It was juicy and flavorful.
We both gave it 5 Stars ! It is served with your choice of onion rings or delicious waffle fries with a Boom Boom Sauce another winner, ALL FOR $24.50 EACH

THE EAGLES EXPERIENCE aims to be the most authentic tribute show to the Eagles available today. The band will perform a FREE concert on the meadow at
Heritage State Park Fall River on July 22 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The evening will feature a raffle as well as other surprises. Food Trucks will be available on site during the concert. In case of rain, the concert will take place on Tuesday, July 23 at 6:00 p.m.

There are many nice and unique Hiking trails preserved for the town, making Westport a very special place to live.
Here is one of my favorites -
Healthy Trail- End of W. Beach Rd. Westport, MA The trail is 2 Miles and isg paved with views of Horseneck Beach. Runs from W. Beach Rd. through the State Campround past Horseneck Beach to Baker's Beach. You can park at Horseneck Beach or the Parking Area before the Causeway to Gooseberry. ( Town parking sticker needed ) Or park at Gooseberry for free and walk over the causeway.
